It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of another of our great equine friends. Seventeen year old Scarlett (owned by the Fenners) started showing neurological signs on 09/06 so we took her to the LSU vet school for care. Unfortunately she did not get better and had to be put down on Wednesday 09/10. The autopsy did not show anything out of the ordinary and the tissue samples so far haven't given too much of a clue. Scarlet shared a special friendship with several of our Right Leaders. Please keep Scarlett's friends and family in your thoughts and prayers.
