This gallery is a memorial to an equine friend who is no longer with us. On July 3rd during the morning feeding Michelle saw that Cue would not come up to eat and appeared unable to move. As she approached him in the field she was horrified to find the problem. Cue had been kicked and suffered a compound fracture to his right front leg just above the knee. The injury appeared to have just occurred and it was obviously non-repairable. Several of our clients and some friends from the past made it out in time for one last goodbye while Cue heartily ate his last meal of grain as he had done for the past 17 years of his life. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Dennis French and the LSU Vet School students who were extremely professional and sensitive to the human aspect of such a tragic event. Cue Ball (aka Roger, aka Hot Rod) taught many people in the Baton Rouge Area to ride. He was a great lesson horse who made his riders work for everything. That's what a great lesson horse is supposed to do, teach riders. We were blessed to have him as a part of the Right Lead family for the past four years and his absence will be felt for a long time to come. We love you Cue and are going to miss you.
